Frequently Asked Questions

What are some good tips for looking after your skin?

Your skin gets its moisture from three key areas, your diet, the environment, and what skin care products you use.  It’s important to remember that your skin may require different products during different times of the year depending on the humidity of the environment.

Below are some simple and easy tips to follow to help your skin stay looking hydrated and its best:

  • Spending too much time in the shower or bath can dry your skin out, so we recommend spending around 5-10 minutes in the shower or bath.
  • Apply your favourite SkinRepairX product immediately after you get out of the shower or bath to give your skin the best chance at retaining moisture.
  • When looking for that perfect outfit try to choose light and breathable fabrics such as silk or cotton. Avoid those heavier materials as they will not let the skin breathe.
  • Including lots of the healthy fats in your diet such as avocado and nuts can really help with your skin. It’s also important to drink plenty of water and always stay hydrated.

Is SkinRepairX suitable for Vegans?

Every product in the SkinRepairX range has been certified vegan by The Vegan Society and they are also cruelty free! We care more than just about your skin.

Are the SkinRepairX products recyclable?

Our larger bottles (500g) are made from 90% PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic and all packaging is recyclable (always check with your local authority). We make a conscious decision to care for the planet whilst also caring for you.

I want a skincare range that the whole family can use. Who can SkinRepairX products be used on?

All our SkinRepairX products are suitable from birth, so they can be enjoyed by the whole family. Gone is the need for a bathroom cabinet full of different products for different reasons. Make the SkinRepairX products a staple in your home.

Are dry skin conditions contagious?

Some dry skin conditions such as eczema are not contagious and can’t be caught by being around someone who has it. If you are unsure or have any concerns it’s always best to check with your doctor or pharmacist.

I am looking for a good soap substitute. Which SkinRepairX products would you recommend?

Using an emollient as a soap substitute is a good idea if you are suffering from dry skin as traditional soaps are known to dry the skin out further. Try our SkinRepairX Colloidal Oat Cream as a moisturising and hydrating soap substitute.
